Shutters that will not go up or down
A shutter may get blocked because of a broken strap, a damaged winder, loose fasteners, damaged stoppers, worn rollers or a problem with the shaft. It is better not to force the mechanism.
Strap replacement
The strap wears with use. When it is frayed, twisted, stiff or broken, the shutter may stop moving properly.
Winder replacement
The winder rolls and releases the strap. If it does not wind correctly, makes noise or leaves the strap loose, replacement may be needed.
Rollers, fasteners and stoppers
Rollers help movement, fasteners connect the shutter to the shaft and stoppers prevent the shutter from going too far into the box.
